In 2020, I was delighted to be asked to collaborate with Clive Jenner, drummer with the Proclaimers, on his new project. I co-wrote a number of tracks with Clive but the project evolved over 18 months and involved a number of musicians, many of whom I had never met, such is making music in the 21st century! Many tracks started with drums and bass, some with just bass, and were very much put together from the bottom up. So when I heard the final mastered tracks, many had changed beyond recognition.

The vibe definitely has a 70s edge, hinted at by the title of the collection. I provided bass on 6 of the tracks and am very much looking forward to Vol 2!
