Dirty Money was the first album by Mandy Meadows and The Madness Method and the culmination of over 2 years of writing and gigging material into shape. The band mixed ska, rock and pop in a blend they called Spock! Mandy was a devotee of Gwen Stefani and No Doubt and there were obvious comparisons, which Mandy did nothing to rebuff! The album had much promo in Melbourne, which had a thriving ska scene at the time, but, despite interstate touring, did not make waves further afield.
