This is a promo video filmed in 2010 for Flaming Absinthe , a track from The Madness Method’s first album, Dirty Money. As with all TMM’s videos, the band get a crack at acting and this time drummer Paul Frangos, as the dancing geek, gets to bed the enebriated Mandy Meadows, who’s less than impressed when she wakes up alongside him. Jon gets to play the unsuccesful smoothie. And the four other women in bed with Paul? Yep – you’ve guessed it, they each represent one of Mandy’s emotions – regret, shame, disgust and something else! All rather arty! It was directed and produced by Ivan Malekin.
"I’m privileged to have worked with Jon on tour in 2016. His skill on the bass and his vocal talent are exemplary and his work ethic is incredible. He’s earned my respect both as a musician and a person."
Eddie Allen, Guitarist - Marty Wilde and The Wildcats. Ex Editor Guitarist Magazine.
"Apart from being a genuinely lovely guy he is also a top bass man. Check out the JENNER, MELLOR rhythm section on the last OUCH album MEDWAY DOG..".
Clive Jenner, drummer - Groove Armada, Lenny Kravitz, The Proclaimmers, The Freestylers
"First and foremost Jon is an excellent bass player with a superb knack for writing lyrical, melodic bass lines for original material. If you’re playing covers, Jon is not only a quick learner – but more importantly when the parts have entered his mind they stay there and will be delivered consistently at any time under any circumstance."
Preben Raunsbjerg, Producer and guiatrist - James Burton's band
"His bass playing and harmonies are second to none in all the different styles of music that we covered and he is the most honest and hardworking bloke I have ever worked with.”
Kevin Taylor, Ouch!
