This live acoustic performance was taken from a Japanese TV appearance as part of Ouch!’s highly successful tour in 1994. During the tour, the band played several acoustic sessions, showcasing the 4-part harmony arrangements for which they were renowned. Ouch! also appeared at The Cavern, Tokyo’s tribute to the the famous Liverpool club, where the Beatles plied their trade in the early 60s. With Jon are lead singer Kevin Taylor, guitarist Jim Knowler, who is now a boogie woogie legend in the South East of England, Darren Green, who tours Europe as a Jerry Lee Lewis tribute, and drummer Mark Sellar.

"I’m privileged to have worked with Jon on tour in 2016. His skill on the bass and his vocal talent are exemplary and his work ethic is incredible. He’s earned my respect both as a musician and a person."
Eddie Allen, Guitarist - Marty Wilde and The Wildcats. Ex Editor Guitarist Magazine.
"Apart from being a genuinely lovely guy he is also a top bass man. Check out the JENNER, MELLOR rhythm section on the last OUCH album MEDWAY DOG..".
Clive Jenner, drummer - Groove Armada, Lenny Kravitz, The Proclaimmers, The Freestylers
"First and foremost Jon is an excellent bass player with a superb knack for writing lyrical, melodic bass lines for original material. If you’re playing covers, Jon is not only a quick learner – but more importantly when the parts have entered his mind they stay there and will be delivered consistently at any time under any circumstance."
Preben Raunsbjerg, Producer and guiatrist - James Burton's band
"His bass playing and harmonies are second to none in all the different styles of music that we covered and he is the most honest and hardworking bloke I have ever worked with.”
