Shades was released by Freefall in 2008. It was the only album released by the band, despite maintaining an impressive gigging schedule in London during the previous 3 years. The band were a neo-soul collective, led by Saeed Shah on keyboards, a jazz scholar and acquaintance of Billy Cobham . 5 of the tracks feature the familiar voice of Zara McFarlane , now recording on Gilles Petersen’s Brownswood Recordings label.
