John & Paul II were one of the first Beatles duos on the UK cabaret circuit and between 2004 and 2009, one of the most prolific. Jon played a right-handed Macca alongside Ouch! lead singer Kevin Taylor. When the two toured Japan together in Ouch!, Kev was described by the Japanese press as “the nearest living thing to John Lennon”, quite an accolade! Later, Kev was replaced by Son Pascal, who was already hailed in his native Italy, following several hits as a solo artist. He has since become a major star in Kazakstan, where he became resident in 2010. The act specialised in the repetoire of the early Beatles from 1962 to 1967.
